About Webmaster

Well I'm Steph the bee keeper around here.  So if you've clicked on the link that led you here, I guess I will tell you a little about myself.

I was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee.  Both of my parents were civilians but I had military on both sides of my family.  When I was 19 I met and married Jesús who was stationed at NAS Millington Tennessee, which is right outside of Memphis.

After we married we moved to Jacksonville Florida where Jes was stationed at NAS Cecil Field.  We were there for four years.  It was a great time and we had a blast.  While we were there we became huge Jacksonville Jaguars fans.  Jes went to several games while I only went to one of them.  I didn't much care for going and watching the games at the stadium.  I preferred to watch them in the comfort of my own home.

Well when Cecil Field closed we were then transferred to NAS Pensacola in Pensacola Florida.  I have to say the home we had there was my favorite by far.  We lived right on the bay which was amazing.  Our backyard was Pensacola Bay.  The first thing we heard in the morning and the last thing we heard at night was the waves crashing on the shore.  We were there for 10 months.  We made some great friends while we were there and they will remain in our hearts forever.

After Pensacola we moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia were we are currently stationed at NAS Oceana.  We will be here until March 2003.  We are having a good time here.  We've been to Washington DC several times.  Before we came here everyone told us how much we would hate it.  That this area was awful to live in.  I must tell you, we love this area.  It's amazing.  Lots of history, which I think is a major plus.

Now it's about time for Jesús to rotate back to sea duty and it looks like we will be staying in the area until 2004.

I guess that's about it.  If you are moving to the area, feel free to drop me a line.  I'm always ready to help anyone out with info when they are moving to the area.  Also if you have any questions, comments, or would just like to say hi, just drop me a line.  I would love to hear from you.
